What is the Three Antennas quest?
It is Breathedge 2’s first main quest, and it turns your powered-up train from a survival base into a communications post. After restoring train power, repairing the Interphone for the NPC Babe grows into a bigger job: the area’s receivers are down, and three of them need work — the damaged station antenna, a hand-built beacon, and an old government probe.
What are the steps?
- Repair the Interphone for Babe at the train station — this is the trigger that opens the antenna chain.
- Repair the three receivers: the station antenna, the beacon, and the government probe. Each is its own small repair trip around the Outskirts.
- Collect Antenna Debris (0/2) — two small pieces near the work sites. They are easy to overshoot: search close to the antennas rather than sweeping the whole zone.
- Finish the chain — completing all three antennas fires the “New Coordinates Detected” objective.
What does finishing it unlock?
Two rewards, one immediate and one long-range:
- The Twister recipe. The fourth harvesting tool unlocks at the crafting menu: 4× Aluminum, 2× Wires, 3× Duct Tape, 2× Plastic. With the three starting tools it completes your harvesting set for the chapter.
- The story hook. New Coordinates Detected pulls the plot toward the cold wreckage and the Depot — provided your suit is patched to 100 Cold Protection first.
What happens after the antennas?
The coordinates lead across the cold gate into the Depot, where the environmental goal becomes warming the region, and the plot eventually narrows onto a jammed signal — the setup for Chapter 1’s finale. That sequence has its own walkthrough: signal jammer guide.
