Breathedge 2 Foreman Test: All Correct Answers

FAQ

Where is the Foreman robot in Breathedge 2?
On the Construction Platform in the Industrial Debris Zone — look for the platform marked with yellow paint, surrounded by wrecked station modules and crane debris.
What happens if I fail the Foreman test?
One wrong answer fails the quest immediately. There is no extra penalty beyond the quest staying incomplete — it is a side quest, so the main story is unaffected and you simply walk away.
Why do I freeze after repairing the Foreman?
His platform is one of the coldest spots in the early game — the temperature drops fast and you can hit hypothermia within minutes. Arrive with insulation near 100 cold protection and an exit route planned.

Where do I find the Foreman?

The Foreman robot waits on the Construction Platform in the Industrial Debris Zone. The platform is marked with yellow paint and sits surrounded by wrecked station modules and crane debris — once you are in the right cluster of wreckage, the yellow markings are the landmark to sweep for.

He is not on your critical path: this is a side quest, in the same family as the Attendant quest, not a main-story gate. That matters for planning, because the platform is a genuinely cold detour into the Industrial Debris Zone — treat it as a prepared trip, not a casual stroll from the train.

How much does repairing the Foreman cost?

Expect to feed him roughly 14 Metal and 5 Electronics. Two honest caveats from player reports: the exact count varies between playthroughs, and the repair can take multiple interaction triggers — if the prompt reappears after your first batch of materials, feed him again rather than assuming it bugged out.

That is a heavy Electronics ask for early Chapter 1, and Electronics are already contested: the battery chain and the Public Oxygen Station both spend them. Check what each material is worth elsewhere in the materials guide before you commit, and haul everything in one run — the platform is far enough that a second trip doubles your oxygen bill.

What are the correct Foreman test answers?

The test is three multiple-choice questions about workplace safety, and the joke is that the Foreman does not want a responsible supervisor — he wants a burned-out cynic. Every answer that sounds like correct safety procedure is the wrong answer. Pick the laziest, most jaded option each time:

QuestionCorrect answer
How should work be done?“Fast and cheap as f***”
When must a hard hat be worn?“The goddamn inspectors show up”
How often should meetings be held?“Every f***ing hour”

Two things to know going in:

  1. The answer wording shuffles between playthroughs — match the phrasing of the answer to the meaning above, not the position on screen.
  2. Read all options before picking. The responsible-sounding distractors are placed on purpose; the correct answer is always the one an exhausted contractor would mumble.

What happens if I get one wrong?

The quest fails on the first wrong answer. There is no second attempt mid-test, and no punishment beyond that: the quest simply stays incomplete, the main story is unaffected, and you are free to walk (or float) away and spend your afternoon on something warmer.

Since the test itself costs nothing to take, the real cost of failing is the trip you already spent getting there — which is exactly why the repair bill and the cold prep below are worth getting right on the first visit.

How do I survive the cold after repairing him?

The Construction Platform runs dangerously cold: after the repair sequence, the temperature drops fast enough to threaten hypothermia within minutes. Before you commit to the test:

  1. Stack insulation toward 100 Cold Protection — the cold protection guide covers the Cardboard/Foam patching route. 100 is the only threshold that matters; over-insulating past it wastes materials.
  2. Plan your exit route before the dialogue starts, so a failed test or a freezing meter turns into a straight flight home instead of a panicked detour.
  3. Treat the whole outing as a round-trip oxygen problem — the oxygen guide’s budgeting rules apply double this far from the train.
